Star Force: The Lone Wolf Tamed

Plot Synopsis
Wolf is pissed off at Taurus and the rest of the FMians, and says, "Fuck it, I'm outta here," but you know, in less vulgar words. While running about the city, he gets chased by the Satella Police and Bob Copper, who is ever vigilant.

While this is going on, Geo is with his friends who are all buying EM-Dogs. This scene is basically here to tell us these things exist so we'll understand the rest of the context of the episode.

Wolf is sick of running so he decides to hide in a little girl's transer. As he's resting, he gets pulsed out and ends up in the girls room. The little girl mistakes him for an EM-Dog, and Wolf figures if he plays his cards right, the Satella Police won't chase him while he hides out with this girl. She ends up naming him Ricky and just absolutely falls in love with him like a six year old little girl would over a puppy.

Also in the girls house is a mysterious pet named Franky, which Wolf never sees, but scares the shit out of him. When the little girl, named Mayu, serves him dog food for dinner, Wolf is insulted at the food and starts to bark until Mayu starts to cry and Franky gives him the evil eye. Suddenly Wolf gulfs down that food like there's no tomorrow! Mayu tries to train Wolf several ways, teaching him tricks and all that, all of which just humiliate Wolf, but he eventually starts taking to her praise and actually develops a fondness for her by the end of the episode. Mayu wants to enter Wolf into a EM-Dog show.

As a subplot going on, Omega-Xis completely destroys Geo's expensive EM-Telescope while riding around in the lawnmower, and Geo is extremely pissed! They don't make that telescope anymore, they don't make the parts for it either, and Geo doesn't have any money to buy one as it is anyway. Oh, but Geo has a plan to make Omega-Xis pay for it... oh yes he does.

Critique
This is a bit of a cutesy episode and has a decent amount of humor for it. Wolf actually comes off likable for an alien trying to destroy the Earth, and Mayu is a darling little girl. Her voice sounds really natural, which is great for me after watching all these damn Ruby-Spears episodes where the kids are the worst parts of the damn shows.

And then there's Geo, who just looks fucking insane this episode with every shot in it.Rating: Thumbs up!
