NT Warrior: The Yoga Warrior!

Plot Synopsis
Lan and Mayl are running late on the way to train for the N1 Grand Prix with Yai and Dex when Lan gets his attention momentarily distracted by a kid tearing up a "Level 5 Custom Navi" with a standard Navi. He wonders who this guy is, but then remembers he's still running late.

Meanwhile, Wily is berating his underlings again, when another member of WWW shows up, named Yahoot. Yahoot runs a wildly popular Yoga tv show that the whole city is watching, and has a special training pose he's going to use for all the N1 Grand Prix entrants. Well, Yai, Dex and the rest of the town are watching this show when suddenly the tv screen switches, and Yahoot's Net Navi MagicMan hypnotizes the audience, turning them into various animals.

Because Lan and Mayl were late however, they managed to avoid hypnotism, apparently making them the only two people in town to not turn into animals. They track Yahoot down to the TV station and MegaMan does battle with MagicMan, but unfortunately MagicMan is much to strong for him. MagicMan is about to finish MegaMan off, when his shot is reflected back at him by the sword of another Net Navi. Defeated, Yahoot reverts the town back to normal and escapes.

At that moment, MegaMan and Lan meet their saviors, Chaud Blaze and Proto Man, the guy Lan saw earlier at the arcade. Chaud is world renowned for his net battling skills and wanted to check out Lan as the competition, but he's unimpressed. He gets really arrogant, and gets into Lan's head some, but Lan is sure he can beat him in the N1 Grand Prix, which begins NEXT EPISODE!

Critique
A decent episode with some off the wall zaniness and the important introduction of Chaud who I actually think is done better in the show than the game. Not that it's a huge improvement since Chaud is pretty much a twat even when he's being friendly. Some of the sight gags are pretty stupid, but the battle sequences are well done, and MagicMan rhyming speech is fun to listen to, which is nice because it could have been really painful to listen to. Not as strong as the last few episodes, but alright.

Rating: Thumbs Up!
